sLOVEnia – 2 Boyz 2 Riverz

When we came to Kamp Klin at Soca river near Bovec / Slovenia at the 4th of june, the weather was already bad. The river is high and murky, but fishable (?).

After setting up on the campground,

I took a quick spy and spot on the Hotspots. And there was fish. And fishermen.

The only opportunity to fish with my man Uli was the 6th of june. We started at 6 o’clock in the morning, fully rigged and motivated.

Slow fishing in the first two ours. Then Uli lost a huge grayling on a 1/o Lache moi boy streamer (?).

Loosing a fish is often more impressive than catching one. I would say.

However, we landed some trout and grayling. Especially after Uli showed me how to do it (once again, yeah) I managed to land a nice fish. Well done.

It was a great day and a pleasure to fish the soca and lepena with you.

So take this one as a late birthday present (for us):

Big Love, praise and credits for basecampmanager Lady Neversink. Impossible without you.
