We met Jure after a quick call last year in Slovenia. Due to the very high water levels fly fishing the rivers across the country was impossible. So we had several cups of coffee and some tackle&tactics talking as well as the discussing of environmental concerns and wildlife management in a Bar.


Jure is deeply involved in the management of the sava river system and knows his trout in streams as well as in stillwater, where he does belly boat fly fishing for big bad balkan rainbows.


Stillwater fishing is not why most of the anglers travel to Slovenia, but under certain circumstances the last chance for successful fishing. To keep it short: He really helped us out with some hot info where to go and fish. We did it and had great sport in a fantastic scenery.
